At our Neighborhood Watch meeting, Cobb County Police Officer Michael Bowman said: "If you do not call 911 to report the incident, it never happened".

At the meeting, changing our habits was Officer Bowman's main theme. Officer Bowman  asked us to be alert, look for suspicious activity, report the activity to police and to keep our neighbors informed.  He gave us insight into home safety,  such as keeping blinds closed at night,  keeping outside lights on,  keeping our parked cars locked,  garage doors closed, locking the inside door from garage to house and much  more.  Reporting situations that don't seem normal for your street or area--no matter how small--to 911 was stressed. Don't be embarrassed: if nothing else, it increases police patrol in our neighborhoods.

If you live in the subdivision and would like to get on the email list in order to receive updates on activity in the neighborhood, use 'Contact Us' and  'to reserve the clubhouse or get on the email list' to be added to the list.
